Job Description

Pixel Personnel are working with our client Norfolk County council in recruiting for an interim Senior Social Worker for their FAST Team (Family Assessment & Safeguarding) based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Excellent rates of pay on offer at £45 per hour (Umbrella) + Accommodation allowance. This is a full time role based on 37 hours per week with a rolling 3 month contact. This is a full assessment and safeguarding role. Candidates may work from home but must be committed to being in the are at least 3 days per week. Caseloads between 18-20.

A Senior Social Worker is required in the Family Assessment & Safeguarding Team, the Senior Social Worker will need to be able to commit to visits and duty service will also be required. Social Workers will need previous court experience. Flexible working is available however visits continue to be undertaken face to face. 

Senior Social Worker Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification
• Experience of representing the Local Authority in court
• Experience of S.47 Assessments
• Experience of Safeguarding vulnerable children
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Registered social worker with Social Work England
